Crown Technology is headquartered in Indianapolis, IN and has been formulating and blending chemical products for industrial applications since 1946. They are privately held by the Peterson family and have over 85,000 square feet under roof on eight acres near a major Interstate. An on-site laboratory is equipped with the latest in analytic equipment for both quality control and R & D work. Crown first achieved ISO 9001 certification in 1997, and is currently certified to ISO 9001:2008.

We manufacture and supply technical grade ferrous (iron) products for various uses such as: iron supplements to enhance fertilizers, for water purification, and in the reduction of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, phosphates, and chromium. We are also the only U.S. manufacturer of food grade ferrous sulfate. This product not only meets USP/FCC specifications, but is GMP verified and Kosher certified.

Crown has had many patents over the years for products in the steel industry; most dealing with corrosion protection for steel processing, others are for improved cleaning of stainless and the recovery of sulfuric acid. Crown is an industry leader in corrosion inhibitors, acid additives, rinse additives, and cleaners for all steel processing.
